About Us

Glass Island Designs' studio is located on a small island in the heart of the scenic Kawartha Lakes, in Ontario, Canada. It is here that owners Valerie and Steve design and create their unique etched and engraved glassware and gifts.

All their etched and engraved items use Glass Island Designs' original artwork.
Living surrounded by beautiful countryside is an inspiration to them, and their original designs are created to reflect the natural beauty of nature.

Steve and Valerie divide the designing between them, relying on each other when a creative block occurs – although they never seem to lack ideas for new designs!

Inspiration can come from something they see or hear, a suggestion from a family member, or a request from a customer. 
Their willingness and ability to go the extra mile make them the number one choice for their many returning customers.

Quality of Service is one of the highest priorities for Glass Island Designs, and as such, Steve and Valerie are happiest when their customers are satisfied.
